Charging Forward in Laboratory Medicine: Our Transformative Week at ADLM

Last week, we took a bold stride into the heart of laboratory medicine’s future at the esteemed ADLM, previously known as the AACC, in Anaheim, California. Led by Zoe Brooks, our fearless leader and world-renowned expert in laboratory quality control, we navigated five days of rigorous intellectual exchange, inspiring interactions, and transformed perspectives.

Our booth, while modest was adorned by an interactive large 4K touchscreen that demonstrated our ability to walk our talk in real time and making a striking impression. This technology was our medium to present our revolutionary approach to healthcare laboratory quality control, a traditionally understated field. And, to our delight, the response was far from understated.

Industry leaders flocked to us, eager to learn how we were breathing fresh life into processes that hadn’t been touched in two decades. Their interest affirmed that the field was ripe for disruption.

In the thick of this energetic atmosphere was Avy Loren Cohen, our Co-CEO. Resilient and tireless, driving numerous insightful conversations with potential strategic partners, clients, and investors. His tireless efforts have set in motion discussions that will significantly shift the landscape of laboratory medicine.

Enhancing our outreach was Brad Adams, our angel investor. His deep network and profound understanding of the healthcare sector facilitated our introductions and interactions at a pace and depth that were remarkable. Brad’s expertise supercharged our engagement, maximizing our impact throughout the conference.

Meanwhile, Ray Gerz, our dedicated coder, worked tirelessly. His non-stop coding allowed us to make real-time updates and improvements based on client feedback.

The ADLM experience was a rush of confirmation and motivation. Interacting with the very individuals who lead and shape the world of laboratory medicine—laboratory directors, statisticians, and other key figures—reaffirmed our mission and inspired us to push even harder.

As we reflect on our week at the ADLM, our resolve has been strengthened, and our excitement heightened. The meaningful interactions, the feedback received, and the eagerness for change we encountered fuel our commitment to this path of improving healthcare laboratory quality control.

We head back to our homes, reenergized, ready to convert the insights and connections from this conference into tangible advancements in our field. Watch this space as we continue to bring innovative solutions to healthcare laboratory quality control. Exciting times are indeed ahead in the realm of laboratory medicine quality control!
