Zoe Brooks, Co-founder, CEO & Science Officer
AWEsome Numbers was founded on a simple belief: the statistical quality control science that transformed laboratory medicine remains essential — but today’s laboratories require greater operational visibility and stronger risk-based decision making.
Since beginning their collaboration in 2008, Zoe Brooks, Raymond Gerz, and the AWEsome Numbers team have been dedicated to helping laboratories build on proven QC methodologies while meeting the evolving risk-management expectations of CAP, CLIA, ISO 15189, and CLSI EP23.
With Zoe’s 50+ year career spanning histology, clinical chemistry, laboratory management, and QC software design, the team brings unmatched depth to every algorithm, every report, and every decision RiskGATOR helps you make.
Raymond Gerz, Co-founder, CTO & Director of Product
With over 20 years of expertise as a software developer and full stack developer in industries such as healthcare, education, travel, real estate, union and professional services, Raymond Gerz has developed membership, accounting, web-app and SaaS solutions.
Raymond began his h-tech journey doing contract work developing VBA macros for complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and small Visual Basic apps. With very little Visual Basic experience, he successfully debugged an extremely complicated, mission-critical Visual Basic app for a real-estate board. He also developed modules and integrations for a popular membership and accounting system using Visual Basic and VBA. Ray has shown a high level of adaptability and creativity during his career, being able to quickly learn new technologies, programming languages and concepts.
As a co-founder of AWEsome Numbers Inc., Raymond is focused on building out the Quality and Risk Management platform, which includes a Quality Engine and other advanced technologies.
Kerry, COO & AI Specialist
Kerry Allan is a Canadian technology entrepreneur, product strategist, and longtime web hosting professional with broad experience spanning internet infrastructure, software, servers, artificial intelligence, and digital business.
He is currently involved in the development and commercialization of RiskGATOR, a clinical laboratory quality-management platform that uses advanced analytics and AI to help laboratories identify risk, improve quality processes, and support better patient care. Kerry contributes to product strategy, AI development, commercialization, marketing, and corporate planning.
He is also the founder of HostSecure, a next-generation web hosting management platform combining automation, security, performance, monitoring, backups, and billing in an integrated environment.
Kerry’s work increasingly focuses on practical AI implementation and how experienced domain specialists can use AI tools to develop and commercialize products more efficiently. His approach combines technical understanding, business strategy, and a willingness to challenge established industry practices in search of simpler, more effective solutions.
Brad, Director of Business Development
Brad Adams is an accomplished medical professional with a proven record of laboratory management & medical sales excellence. With over 15 years is clinical laboratory management and 40 plus years in medical/laboratory sales and marketing, his strong management skills have led to strong team performances and recognition. His years of experience has given him a thorough understanding of the laboratory market from distribution and manufacturing and lab management aspect.
Brad has over 40 years working for leading companies like American Hospital Supply Corporation, Baxter Healthcare, Allegiance Healthcare, Cardinal Health and Labsco (Laboratory Supply Company) in Sales management and operations management. He currently has his own company, My Care Solution LLC, where he has been involved in rapid diagnostic distribution and consultant to other healthcare companies.
Brad began working with Zoe Brooks and Raymond Gerz in 2013 in the development of RiskGATOR and currently serves as Director of Business Develop.
Sherri, Director of Marketing, Sales & Customer Support
Sherri Raguth leads marketing, sales, and customer support for AWEsome Numbers, helping bring RiskGATOR to the clinical laboratory market.
Her work focuses on positioning RiskGATOR, developing customer and market engagement strategies, and translating the platform’s technical capabilities into clear, practical value for laboratory professionals. She works across marketing, sales, education, and customer support to help laboratories understand how RiskGATOR complements their existing quality-control processes and supports a more risk-based approach to quality management.
Sherri has been instrumental in developing the company’s customer-facing programs, including its Beta Program, educational content strategy, and Risk Management MasterClass. She works closely with the AWEsome Numbers team to connect the company’s scientific and technical expertise with the questions, priorities, and real-world needs of clinical laboratories.
