CEO Opportunity
Are you an entrepreneurial healthcare, diagnostics, or SaaS executive who wants to help build a company—not simply manage one?
AWEsome Numbers is developing RiskGATOR, a HealthTech SaaS platform that helps clinical laboratories turn routine quality-control data into clear, clinically meaningful risk intelligence. By connecting statistical QC with patient-oriented risk, RiskGATOR is designed to help laboratory teams identify what matters, prioritize action, and make more defensible quality decisions. More importantly, it improves patient care while reducing healthcare costs.
Our MVP is nearing completion. We are pre-revenue, but well beyond the idea stage, with substantial work completed across clinical methodology, product design, software, AI, SaaS infrastructure, and market discovery. An experienced multidisciplinary team is already in place.
We are now looking for an entrepreneurial CEO to lead the business side of the next phase: complete and validate the MVP, secure funding, develop strategic partnerships, win early customers, and build a path to recurring SaaS revenue.
This is initially an equity-based opportunity, with conventional executive compensation anticipated as financing and revenue permit. An investor / CEO arrangement may also be considered. Remote participation is possible; the company is based in Northern Ontario, Canada.

Clinical Laboratory Professional — Apprenticeship Opportunity
Bring your laboratory expertise into HealthTech, AI, and innovation.
RiskGATOR connects statistical QC with patient-oriented risk to help laboratory teams identify what matters, prioritize action, and make more defensible quality decisions. The platform is currently in beta and evolving rapidly as we work with laboratory professionals and beta participants to validate, improve, and expand its capabilities.
We are looking for a clinical laboratory professional who is curious about what comes next in laboratory medicine and interested in bringing their laboratory knowledge into a HealthTech environment.
This is an opportunity to work alongside our lead scientist and multidisciplinary team while gaining practical experience in clinical risk management, laboratory QC, AI-enabled software, SaaS implementation, product development, client onboarding, and beta testing.

- Clinical laboratory technologists and MLTs

You do not need to be a software developer or an AI expert.
What matters most is that you understand the laboratory, are willing to learn, and are excited about the possibility of helping shape technology that serves laboratory professionals.
What You’ll Do
Working with our team, you may have opportunities to:
- Participate in training and onboarding RiskGATOR beta clients
- Support beta participants and gather structured product feedback
- Apply your laboratory and QC knowledge to real-world RiskGATOR use cases
- Help translate laboratory workflows, terminology, and practical needs into software improvements
- Participate in beta testing and product validation
- Help evaluate how RiskGATOR’s AI-enabled capabilities can support clinical risk management and laboratory QC
- Contribute to training, documentation, and customer-support materials
- Work with laboratory data and quality-control scenarios
- Participate in discussions about product development and future capabilities
- Help identify opportunities to make RiskGATOR more useful to laboratory professionals
Because RiskGATOR is an evolving product, the work will evolve with it. You won’t simply be following a predetermined internship curriculum—you’ll have an opportunity to contribute to a product that is actively being built and refined.

Compensation and Future Opportunities
This is currently an unpaid apprenticeship opportunity.
For the right individual, successful participation may lead to paid employment as the company moves into commercialization and revenue generation. Depending on the company’s growth and the individual’s contribution, future opportunities may also develop beyond a conventional employment relationship.
